Much like any industry, there's a lot of tits in the games business. Whilst one lawsuit-happy trademark troll springs to mind (who shall go unnamed until I find a more entertaining way of offending him), it looks like the people behind Evony are joining the ranks.
Bruce Everiss is a long-time video game marketer responsible for helping to build the Dizzy brand in the glory days of Codemasters. He's also offered advice to Binary Tweed in the past, so it seems only right that you should check out Bruce On Games and read about the whole debacle.

Rate Clover
The new Xbox Dashboard is now live. Make sure you rate Clover accordingly - last time I checked it was in the Top 20, but you know you can do better than that.

XBLIG Gets Stricter, For The Better
New Xbox Live Indie Games peer review rules have seen Digital Art Gallery: Semi-Naked CG Goths (or whatever it was called) pulled from the service. It's a shame that these things need to be spelt out, but some people really are taking the michael. First Break One Out and now this.
There's a lot of naff applications on the service, but people are paying for them. If there's hundreds of idiots out there willing to part with their cash for a calculator/screensaver/egg timer then creators should be allowed to separate them from their cash, before they use it to buy something more dangerous.
But putting up a gallery of near-naked CG ladies, whose "inny-outty bits" are covered by the slenderest of hands? That's just the oldest trick in the book. Naked ladies could even sell the Atari 2600 version of ET.

German blog HomebrewWelt has reviewed Clover, giving it a rather spiffing 4.5 outof 5. Meine Deutsch ist nicht so gut, aber it looks like they say that Clover is still ace and enjoyable even if English isn't your native language.
